A Down-to-Earth Approach

Christine Cregar is popular for her down-to-earth approach to cases. Accordingly, she offers expert advice to her clients while maintaining close professional relationships with prosecutors, law enforcement, and the Courts. In 2022 Christine Cregar was appointed by the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas as a Hearing Officer to make findings of fact and determinations for competency proceedings under the Mental Health Procedures Act, 50 P.S.  §7403(e).  This position requires Ms. Cregar to decide whether attorneys for the defendants have proven by a preponderance of the evidence that due to the passage of time, it would be unjust to continue to prosecute their mentally ill clients.  In this role, Ms. Cregar sits as an independent Hearing Officer and renders a fair and just decision for the residents of Bucks County.
