Just today all levels of Courts in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania have lifted the “mask mandate.” As a result, it is now up to each person in Court to decide whether he or she wishes to wear a mask – or not. President Judge Carolyn Carluccio suggested that Montgomery County Courts will continue to follow CDC guidance pertaining to mask wearing in the future. I happened to be in Court today when the Judge I was before removed his mask, mid-hearing, and invited everyone else in the courtroom to do the same, advising that he had just been notified of the news. Many people will be thrilled and many will be greatly upset, but the mask mandate is now officially dead in Montgomery County! Please let us know what you think of the mask mandates in the comments below – would you prefer that everyone still be required to wear a mask or are you thrilled to get out from behind yours? Are you afraid to go to Court or just happy to be back?
